This is the second post which will give examples of church (baptisms, marriages and deaths) and civil records (births, marriages and deaths or BMDs) from different counties in Ireland that have the Buggy name.[1]
As in the first post the focus will be on all counties except Kilkenny and Laois. This set is made up of marriage and death records. I did not have access to the following counties and areas: Carlow, Clare, Cork City, Cork South County, Dublin City, Fermanagh (deaths only), Kerry, Monaghan, Offaly, Waterford, Wexford, Wicklow.
For marriages no Buggy’s were found in: Armagh, Cavan, Derry, Donegal, Fermanagh, Galway, Leitrim, Longford, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo, Tyrone. For deaths no Buggy’s were found in: Antrim, Armagh, Cavan, Cork North, Derry, Donegal, Down, Galway, Kildare, Leitrim, Longford, Mayo, Meath, Roscommon, Sligo, Tyrone, Westmeath.
