The 1880 census saw a sharp decrease in the number of states that had Buggy’s living in them, down from 19 to 13. Total numbers increased to 251.[1] A Buggy presence is re-established in California, with Montana listed for the first time. I have been unable to record the city wards where people live leading to the unfortunate situation of a lack of specific areas for cities such as New York and Philadelphia.

Buggy Name History 
My grandmother was a Buggy from Williamstown (the family moved to Philadelphia during the Depression, I think), and I just wanted to thank you for the work you’re doing on this project.
