Brooklyn, NY – 1939                                                                                                                         In a newspaper obituary for Michael J. Fogarty of 719 57^th St who died 20 June, a Patrick Buggy is listed as a brother-in-law. No details are given about Patrick’s wife, Michael’s sister. Michael’s wife was Elizabeth Fogarty who was already deceased by this time. His children Edna and James are also listed.[1]

Manhattan, NY – 1934                                                                                                  Announcement has been made of the engagement of Miss Marjorie Elizabeth Buggy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Buggy of 788 Riverside Drive, to William Richardson Meagher, son of Mrs. Martin J. Meagher, of this city. Miss Buggy was graduated from the Barnard School for Girls and from Marymount College. Mr. Meagher was graduated from Fordham University in 1924, and three years later from the Fordham Law School where he is now a member of the faculty. He is with the firm Hunt, Hill and Betts. The wedding will take place in June.[2]

Brooklyn, NY – 1898                                                                                                                     List of officers and men of the fourteenth regiment of Brooklyn who will go to Chickamauga National Military park to train for the Spanish American War. Company F, Private John Buggy.[4]
